Eighth chapter
It has been… ten? Yes, ten months, since I finished the last chapter.
I don’t really have to find excuses – I have some, sure, I was sick, I was overwhelmed, and I tried to develop new things in my life. But in the end I write at the pace I want. And the priority is to my Star Trek narrative RP.
The dry spell is now finished! I have finished Chapter VIII: Detention where Ariana lives on Union Central after her capture by the Union Navy in the previous chapter.
You’ll see, the Union is fairly kind when it comes to criminal punishment.
This chapter is less powerful than the seventh, where the crew rescues Ariana, but it still has some glorious moments, here’s one of my favourites.
She admired her physique on the mirror, she went from being one hundred and seventy-six centimetres tall and thin to about twenty-two centimetres shorter. In addition, she somehow had gained a layer of healthy fat on her body, despite eating calorie cube as her only meals for weeks. She had worked out in her “cell”, which gave her a layer of toned muscle under that fat too, not enough to be visibly buff, but enough to be a five-foot nothing lithe girl.
Yes! I am leaking the juicy post-magic-hrt-thing Ariana :D
